In sneaky like shedinja, greta used shedinja to exploit its wonder guard ability, as well as the fact that it has one base hp, requiring no items to resuscitate itself. in a dust-up with dusclops, a shedinja was used by emerald in his pyramid challenge. a student's shedinja appeared in movie panic.. Shedinja is really just a gimmick pokemon. but in the hands of the right trainer, can actually be pretty deadly. he's great for switching into resistant attacks, since he's impervious to all damage from non super effective attacks.. I caught a shedinja both times i met one... separately, because of wonderguard, it's also one of the few mons able to completely troll bosses by being immune to everything they do. (like primal kyogre vs reshiram).
Why does shedinja's wonder guard work against magnitude? why did shedinja's wonder guard fail against a fraxure's dragon claw?? does gastro acid get rid of shedinja's wonder guard? how can wonder guard be traced? is it hard to get a solosis with magic guard? can you skill swap wonder guard? can you copy wonder guard with role play?. Wonder guard cannot be skill swapped, otherwise it'd be insanely broken in 2v2. speaking of which, i played against a wonder guard sableye on april fool's day, and it's pure insanity. lol worry seed is a bit of a worry for shedinja, but at least this is 3rd gen.. Wonder guard: is what makes shedinja unique. shedinja can only be hit by super-effective attacks and indirect damage. the downside is that indirect damage is rather commonplace, and includes spikes, stealth rock, toxic, will-o-wisp, and weather damage (sandstorm and hail)..
