Mac undertones (opposite of the rest of the world lol) shade: c - stands for cool - match for yellow/golden olive undertone (so if mac c matches you perfectly, you are warm toned). Foundation shade ranges may be (thankfully, finally) becoming far more wider, but the variety of undertones aren't always taken into account � especially for those with golden undertones..

If you have cool undertones, the foundation should look slightly, and we mean slightly, pinkish in the bottle. if your undertone is warm, then the foundation shade should have a subtle yellow or golden tone, and we mean very, very subtle. of course, there are always exceptions..
